Chiani's newer artwork is like, Shakespeare doing art. It's...it's... it's like completely brilliant. You know, cause shakespeare was brilliant...and so is Chiani. It's like...a simile, cause it's like, Chiani is as brilliant as Shakespeare. You know...

AndyT: this is it. I don't think quite Modigliani. I will try another one.
Tilokani/Andromeda: thank you. I am just a copy cat. I am still learning.
CG: great picture. Like the eyes.

But then that's pretty self explanitory;)

ChiaNi - I missed that Confused
I think it looks great Very Happy . But I thought you tried something else first.
I guess because Modigliani draws the heads kinda streched and there's not so much contrast.
But I like it. It looks scary ... as if you are under a spell. Reminds me of a scene from a tv series ...

Welp, this may not be digital, or even a painting, but it is a self portrait!

I did it at school... we were asked to create a self protrait for our portfolio using cross contour and an expression that would grab people's attention. I think mine does! Twisted Evil haha

ChiaNi - I liked the scary version of #93 as well. Both are great.
The new one looks great but it does look scary again Wink
What scares me most is the number. Dangerously close to #100
What will happen when you reach that number Question

atomicmonkey - you definitely succeded

Just thought I have to add a picture if I want to post here again ...
I tried without looking at a picture of me or my reflection. Inspired by this image

Chiani, your Portrits going to better and better! They get mood and style. Smile

As an example i did a color-thumbnail(the yellow looks like green and the orange looks like yellow) ... and so the colorexample was open in photoshop ... .. .. and voila a new quick selfportrait Smile

Well, here are my two selfportraits. One photo manipulated and one painted. I`m not that good at painting, this was my second painting ever (one of my first tries with colors also Wink )

Some awesome portraits here, I love your study of facial expressions lionel, would like to see them all on one page sometime.

nerthus: didto what Reakshun said Smile

MrLuisDiaz: Very cool though love the textures

Mon: Wow that is awesome man amasing sp

ChiaNiL: I really like that one. The dress + hands are exquisit.

Cadalano: You look like you are about to try and nick his hat

Farley13: Well I always tend to just paint over something till I get it right the main thing is to try and get it right first time Wink.

Duracel: Thouse are some scary colors.

It seems to be really really hard to paint these this week :/. This one has been a really strugle :/. I don't know why but these seem to be getting much harder.

Thanks a lot Lionel!

I was trying to be a little creative with this one. But not all *that* creative, I got the idea from a painting by Jeff Jones.

Enjoy!
