previously known as animefin, before the anime fuckers (previously known as faggots but let's leave such insults to another time) from ircnet took over. so we sought refugee in the forlorn swamps of afghanistan. don't ask, i don't know. it's a group that has stayed together for 3 or so years now.
..of course, the seppuku posse's been there for over 6 years.. starting from beyond 3dnet back in the day. heh. _________________ "hey, wanna dance?"

If your referring to me, I don't. I use it for everything else though.
I'm dependant on Windows for Painter and that's about it.
In terms of video and sound, it's competent though. Not necessarily for editing, but for DVD's and mp3's it's fine. In the next year I'm betting on dramatic improvements in everything desktop related.
Which makes me wonder why your running VMware?
And 3 instances of Winamp? |

i originally intended to use vmware for dos6.22/freedos to play them oldie games. didn't work out, since i couldn't install msdos cause i couldn't fdisk or format in the vmware image and i don't have a spare hd to use with it at the moment and my current disks are all ntfs. then i went and installed drake so i could try wine and dosemu out. and out of passing interest to se if there's actually any truth to these claims of drake9 being more user-convenient and newbiefriendly etc. than windows out of the box. it was a disappointment. the emus didn't work too well, either. so i went and shelled out a few euros for a 486. problem solved. except i need a goddamn isa sound card. :( so now i'm playing tie fighter with vdmsound (highest rank in the order of the emperor, bitttcchhh. can't get there with easy or normal settings unless you kill every capital ship in the game, afaik.)
one winamp (2.81) is a plain install with no plugins etc, one (2.81) is with shoutcastsource, and one is winamp 3 which i installed out of curiosity. _________________ "hey, wanna dance?"
