I like play harmonica too. you amazing play it without hand. Is your room cold? I see you ware scarf and hat. whith the hat is your trad mark.

Lionel that last one totally blew me away! Blurring my focus makes your face show but looking closely--blobs.

ChiaNi, I really like the lightness of that last one, the colors are very pleasing.

Im glad to hear you like it, chiani! :)

I would translate it, but its too difficult german language and my english is by far not as good ... and well, many times there would be no english term.

An well, my room is not cold and its no scarf, just a collar of my pullover combined with my headset around the neck(with the microphone ;)
But well, soemtimes wear a scarf(you can see it on some of my selfportraits) ... cause its cosy :D
And yep, this beret is my trademark ... but well, i do not wear it all the time. ;)

Thanks Chiani and Lionel... And yes there is significance to the writing. Its the thoughts that are on my mind when I made the self portrate (which unfortunately came out a bit monkey like) ... I have started an art journal and usually I write my thoughts then draw over them...

Duracel: Thanks. Love the videos that one with the harmonica is very cool. The german lirics are a bit lost on me though :/

Cadalano: Nice drawing works really well. I really like th sketchness of it seems to all work very well as a picture

Novacaptain: Thanks Have a look at chuck close to see some really good stuff. I have seen an exibition of his stuff in London and in real life it just blows you away they are al just soo big Smile.

ChiaNi: I really love the washed out color in these ones you have been done it. You have made a lot of really strong images

jamus: That is a really good idea. I am always thinking when I am drawing I find drawing helps me reflect. It is nice to see you capturing the mood

Farley13: Good going on thouse I prefer you use of color in the first one Smile. Try varying the size of your bush. Using a large brush for big areas like the cheeks may help you.

My own Dali. This seemed very hard to paint I just couldn't seem to do it and it is all very rushed :/.

Great one Lionell I'll have to look for some fun reference next time! "prefer the color in the first one" Yeah me too!! Hate the second one other than it's like-ness. Went back to PS - it's just so much more fluid, got a pretty big brush and when wild with the colors the [crappy overcast sky of pittsburgh!].

This one is the same lighting lamp as the first:

Sorry to post this again, but my friend thought it was a propaganda poster, and modified it to this version... Just thought I would post it for humour purposes...

chiani..

i love your work! i visit this site every day to see what your creating!

(very inspiring)

i work on a computer all day-- making films using 3D software.. although it's a great job, it's stressful due to technical issues, deadlines, etc..

seeing everyone's work here, has made me want to get back to the basics, and draw, draw, draw!

it's like therapy!
once again, great posts everyone! ..there is some really nice talent out there!
