I was thinking about some demonic characters for a project the last few days. The project leader has so far some 'creature like' demons in mind (Diablo like) whereas I try to get them out there again and replace them by something more 'human like'. 
I made two sketches so far and since I most likely make some more I thought I open a related thread here.
If anyone has some kind of demonic creature of feels like painting one, feel free to post them here.
However, here my two to start with:
a bigger version of the head from a sketch I did a few days ago...
like him better so far cos I would probably hate him more if he was real ...  |

hey
I think Demons rocks!.
I have made whole bunch for a game project that I�m working on but this one is another I made for while ago. The Demon was posted in an own Thread earlier.
He�s a Fog Demon, maybe works as an inspiration.

Alright... great stuff already in here. I actually expected lots of red skinned fellows to show up here. Good to see that this was only 'my' general picture of demons.

reference help from Lord of Rings--i created the horns though to fit the DEMON description so he could blend in with the crowd hehheh
--odd--i wish i could paint with your simple strokes---im a detail freak!!
--COS--simply astounding--love the texture...reminds me of JUSTIN SWEET if you've ever heard of him

Here my entry:
I think that the Cthulhu counts as a demon. Despite it being an alien.
Original made in A3 format. Painted with color pencils (My first one with color pencils.)
ps. I didn't like the hands, I have to redo them... one day And, I have to finish the wings |

the_insider: glad you like something about my way of painting
i'v tried to add some more detail on the face, no ref so the pose looks pretty unnatural, but i'm happy with the result

the lighing on yours insider is very real looking.
drawnblud.. haha thats just cool.
Cos's is just superply rendered. Cuz hes good. 
francis. Very sickly looking deamon, with his colors. cool.
Lasth. lookin ok, but her tan wings need some more variation, and some shadowing..

Francis: yes, cool one. definitely a character...
Another one of those typical red guys. This one is going somewhat away from my initial intention of makeing them more human like. Seems like the less human the harder it gets to give them a strong personality. Not surprising actually...
