This is the 2nd promo installment for my cartoon, which is ready by the way (I know I keep saying coming soon-two more weeks- but, still waiting for the webmaster to do his thing, damn!).

This is my villian...he's a commercial music mogul...I'm trying to show him in front of televisions, programming people...but not quite sure if I'm pulling it off...

have at it....

That guy really doesn't look likable to say the least. I can't believe there are no replies Confused

What bothers me a little is that only a part of the contract is visible ...
The composition works but I'd like to know what the contract says exactly.

i think he's saying that the glowing boxes in the back are T.V's...I see that...he looks like some reporter guy or sumthing. Lookin Good! Smile

Andy...I evoked the response I wanted from you about the contract...how you wanted to know more...that's what promotion is all about...so I think I did my job with that one...

really I was just trying to see if the piece was decent...thanx! NOW, BACK TO WORK!

i think the idea is good but the "T.V.'s" remind me of the big light rigs at stadiums that they turn on for night games. it might serve you well to draw up some additional pics of the fake tv channels he controls, and then color and put them in place of the white screens.

ahhh...any ideas, Zippy...should've mentioned this but, these are going to be on cards 4 X 2.6 - so they have to read...lemme know...I'm dying here!

Great image, love the style.

I think the "Hip Hop is Dead" lettering looks a bit lacking. Maybe because they are put right on the top edge of the boarder...

He so stylized, would be nice to see the lettering in some sort of style also.

I think you should write the letters yourself. The ones on the paper that is.

so thats what 'THE MAN' looks like.....nice use of colors there....he kinda looks like Yosamity Sam only more evil lookin

JHof and Thor...I feel you two on the letters. And honestly, I would love to throw some letters up there...but my font skills SUCK. Characters and other stuff, we can do...LETTERS, I'm sorry. Hey, it's all good though but I agree with you...that would've set it off.

ok if its going on cards heres an idea move him to the right, then put one giant tv screen behind him. kind of like the men in black operations screen they use to view everything. that would read really well, also i dont know if you have time to re- work it, but id draw him from an extreme up shot, you want him to look larger than life, cuz he has all the power that controls destiny and what not, ill post a quick line redraw of what im talking about in a few.

LOL I like the contract! I think it's pretty funny, just enough words to get the idea, but not over-the-top.
