Absolutely beautiful work here! Wonderful to see these.
I think same way as many of people here. I like traditional art much more than digital because man's own style and trace is much more individual and original than using digital media. Nice.
Here is my other Liv Tyler drawing by pencil. Original resolution A4 but because my scanner do not work, I had to capture this by using my digital video cam. Resolution is only 320x240.
I think that the work itself looks much deeper and better on paper. Ok. Here it is anyway. Hope you like it.

I am in a huge fight with my scanner, take that "Bang!!". My scanner has decided to not show great color on the non digital stuff. Anyway, heres another one made with kid markers.

since i haven't seen any scratchboard stuff up here yet, thought i'd throw this in. sorry about the 'tag', it's from my site. did it in school, based on some zoo reference photos i shot. to this day I can't work as loosely as you guys. great work from everyone; let's keep this thread going!

Cool Stuff Everybody. I'll try put up some new stuff soon.
Keep it up everybody. How much more diverse everyone's non-digtal art is! I wonder why people's digital artwork is all so similar... I like all this diversity, I *love* Inspector Lee's leather clad woman at the end of the last page, and then there's stuff from eyewoo which is just so different. it'd be nice to see similarly broad variation in digital art someday...

I have too many 'traditional' illustrations to show here... but you can see most of them at my college assignment portfolio website
http://www.geocities.com/jeromemoo
I know it is burdensome to visit links, but just visit my site if you have plenty of time... thanks!
by the way jr, your oil pastel work looks 'soulful' with all the colours and textures... really nice effect!! |

had to do this for school. among some pencil scribbles, this is one of the only non-digital pieces is did. There are some parts that suck because had to use "deckfarben" (don't know the english word. children use these colors. they put a brush into water and... oh wait...look at this:
)
anyway, the teacher liked it very much and gave it 15 of 15 points |
