hello everyone....
1st im located in Canada, Toronto...
so im looking for information on
Sheridan
George Brown
Seneca
and OCAD
My goal is to become a 3d graphic artist for a game developer...
does anyone know which program I should look into?
im asking for people who have gone to these schools,
and what they thought of them...

Well search for older posts on sheridan, there are plenty with lots of info in them.
From what I have heard from other people, OCAD is very much into 'fine art', or whatever you want to call the fluffy stuff. If you're into it, great, otherwise, I wouldn't trust that school for some serious training. Hell one guy gutted a cat and called it art for a school project there. Whatever.
My buddy is going to George Brown for Graphic Design and I think he's doing ok. Dunno about any other programs there though.
Seneca has a new animation program and I'm hearing good things about it.
Sheridan has a great animation program and their illustration is great as well.
Whatever you do, go to a school that emphasizes solid drawing skills. 3d artists need to be able to draw, yes.
You only have about a week to apply for next year too, so, I'd decide soon . |
