argfh ... first you have to edit this page-color its stinging!
Its not only an ugly color (pink/purple .. *uahrgfhkt*) but its also too saturated.

I too can't stand looking at it for more than 20seconds!

You want feedback on your art ... well there's a lot. Most look great first but there are obvious flaws in most of them. You should probably choose some and post them in this thread.
Don't start more than one thread at a time. And the more pictures you post, the more superficial the replies will be I guess.

[edit]And the themed threads are not a good place to ask for feedback btw.[edit]

Yeah the colors gave me a headache too... If its an art site maybe it should concentrate more on showing art rather than give seizures with its colorful design. I never understood illustrators with flashy buttons and interfaces... but whatever goes i guess.

I like some of the stuff i've seen on your site... like this one

Beautiful.

And others were ok but not anything great because of problems.

Face is just not properly constructed.

neck too thick.

etc...

Would also like to see bigger images. Your large versions could pass as thumbnails.

And yeah... just dump the pictures here and ask for critiques on them in the future. People will check out your site if they like the art.

Thank you for comments, DrMonk

It's wonderful to see that my website design hasn't gone to rack and ruin - because some people are barking and others are praising. Nice.. cool.

I have to grumble about your critique which concerns about constructions and woman's neck is really curved or inversed - how to express it. I request you to observe the moves of your neck when you take same position. Please.

And still I have something to say. I would REALLY like to put bigger images to my site but I have only 10 MBs to use. And I hate websites with pop-ups and ad banners. I really hate them so I don't want to get that sort of hosts.

Okay. People, don't get me wrong. I appreciate every shoot I get... Wink

Maybe I should have to put my artwork here to get profound comments. That's a good idea. Yeah.

- Juha

10 MB? Then you should be able to upload bigger pictures. You should reduce the quality.
For example this image has a smaller filesize than this

There's something I just don't understand JUHIS.
When I ask for critics
Quote:
I dare to ask some critique and feedback of my art. Thank you.
I expect to make the others tell me what I am doing wrong and I am not able to see. I always receive the critics in a humble way as most of them are offered by people who know much more than I do.
Then what's the goal in receiving critics if you are going to answer all of them with
Quote:
well, well... why is it too saturated? I can't understand your point of view in this case. But I still respect your opinion
or
Quote:
I'm really looking forward to get argumentations against claims..
or

These people are trying to make you see your web hurts the eyes, and you instead of try to learn from what they are saying, just pretend to defend it against the rest of the world. Did you need critics for that?
And that neck is very thick, and that Frodo head is distorted. And if someone tells that is because they think it is like that. It is no offense, it is what you were looking for, and I would be very proud to receive the critics from people like ANDY or DURACEL, who really know what they are saying.

This is not a flame, I am only asking for some humbliness if you want people to critic and comment your posts.

That said, yes, those colours are TOO SATURATED.
