Dont know about that flying carpet, maybe it would be more clear to me if I know who this Dan fella is!

But the monster and the scenery is jawdropping, I always love your cool style and use of colours!

Very impressive work Sparth! Very nice form, shading and color work, Love the characters too. The monster design and action is just as impressive!
Perspective bothers me a little bit, but that's fine. =)

Nice painting. Hyperion and the other three books in that series are among my favorite books ever. Nice touch with the Crosses on his back. I thought in the book the Shrike had four arms? But that's not important. Very nice tribute to Dan Simmons.
