I was searching for some decent satellite photos, but didn't found what I want. If you have any suggestions I would love to know.

Just FYI, most of the TerraServer images were taken from airplanes, not satellites.

and TERRA now has a brother called AQUA - phaseshifted orbit, also equipped witha MODIS sensor - if you want your's fresh, like one hour old and unpicked - here's the raw gallery of all images that AQUA spits out - can't get any fucking better:

I stumbled upon this while looking for satelite photos. Kite photography shows aerial views, but with much more detail and color than a satelite.
