I think some of my influences here are obvious. C&C welcome.

haha nice n_n
but both arm are disproportionate from one another, and you should get rid of the line work also...unless thats the style your going for ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ I touch myself only where it counts |

for the record, i'm absolutely repulsed by the character in this drawing. however, as far as the quality goes, the style is fantastic and works really well with the subject. i'd have to say the sketchiness really develops the mood of the subject. your coloring is also fine, with soem good and highlights texturing on his skin. my only crit would be the bright blue on orange in the bg fighting with the foreground for attention. and one last thing, the drawing, and overall quality of his right left is beautiful... just something about it. |

sick yo! hehe;]
you drew it so well, that i really want to smack that boy across the face.
reminded me of those little annoying kids that go with their moms to the pool and then cry because they dont want to go into the water.. hrm swimming.. hrm.. nevermind.
btw, there is something very disturbing about his bellybutton. for a fat man, maybe it shouldnt be poking out like that, but it actually adds to the grossness.
really good painting and message |

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Paranoid: Yes, the disproportionate arms were intentional. Deformity, and all. Also, the sketchy style (something I've always been a big fan of) is something I've been playing with lately.
Jerm: Your repulsion means I must be doing something correctly. -- You make mention of the character's "right left", however, and I can't seem to figure out what it is you meant to type...
Eyalyab: I tend to maintain the generalizing opinion that anyone who attends public pools must certainly be disgusting freaks, because people piss their insides out in those things all freaking day. I guess I wanted this guy to reflect how I don't think there's any way in hell I'm ever going to touch a public pool again because I simply cannot bear the fact that somebody like this fellow might have been excreting his wastes in there (and after several weeks of not bathing, to boot) just several moments earlier.
Thanks again for your comments. Here's another piece I made using the sketchy style. Already posted this one in the Gangster Thread, but oh well.
