Well, this is one of those things I've ignored for years and I've just discovered this minute how great it is!!
It's late at night and I'm working on a painting, my head is going fuzzy from sleep but as I look at my work I can see quite a few little things that need fixing. Normally at this stage I get a pen and paper and make a list of things I can see need to be tweaked tomorrow, but suddenly I thought about that little icon in the toolbar that I've always ignored and check it out.
It turns out to be dead useful, I can write myself notes on the canvas and they can either be left open or collapsed to a little icon that still reminds you that there is an annotation there, or if you like you can hide it altogether, or even drag it off the canvas. So next time I open my painting I'll know right away what needs to be done.
Well, I guess it's not much to get excited about but there you have it, I reckon 99% of people like me have overlooked this nifty little thing, and god knows I've been using PS an awful long time. It still has the odd surprise though ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ www.itchy-animation.co.uk

Agreed... very useful... I use it for annotating printer settings for individual pictures. _________________ HonePie.com
