I think I am over reacting. My friend say eyalyab didn't do any insult. Actuality he try to compliments in the cute way and I don't get it.

My English not that good. I never see that big word "Narcissist". Maybe I should study English befor get mad. Or Eyalyab use Chinese to leave cute compliment. Wink

I look at myself. Yeah! very pretty. I like what I see. thank you God and thanks my mother and father.

thank you all of you leav message here and in my inbox. I didn't know so many people care about this thread. I love this thread.I don't need worry this thread died now. and this beautiful grandmom not going to leave. I will keep post. Life have no fun without posting self potrait at Sijun Forums. here is No. 69

ChiAni: whew! Glad you're back. Your last SP is wonderful. You;re always bound to be called narcissist when you do even just a few self portraits.. Sad it's a common misunderstanding apparently.. Confused doing SP's is great practice of course and you have to look at yourself in a different way. In fact, you may look at yourself and see more than you wanted to! Surprised

Anyways I'm too lazy to paint lately but I'm always looking forward to everybody's submissions.

zippzopp!

you are really persistant, good work and lots of it, too.
but it looks like you concentrate too little and trust that quantity will make up for hard studying. maybe you should start a painting and measure and correct and tear the structure down until it really, really is exact.

the pictures have a continuing likeness to them, but it's a bit of a cartoonic one i think.

more pain.

ChiaNi: Wow that one is really something Smile that is really really good Smile

Zarathustra: I like it. It looks good though possibly a bit more contrast would help it though I suspect it is the scan doing it

Jr. Thank you. I think you are great. I enjoy your pictures. all pictures you been post are great.

Lionel: thank you. that last one is wonderful.

Now I spend a lot time to do self potrait. I look the light very carefully. Hope can catch even just little change. I am post slow now. sometimes one picture maybe spend 3 to 4 days. I feel the time I spend on each picture is worth. It help me train my skill.

Lionel,

Thanks for the nice comment! As you said, the scan is not very good but my drawing still needs more contrast as well.

By the way, I'm awestruck at your effortless portraits. Just looking at them is quite instructive. I love your very painterly style.

Hi guys,
Been lurking for awhile. There is some great stuff on here.
Thought I would post a self portrait i did last year of myself.
It's basically photo-manipulation with a bit of digital paint.
Cheers,
Andy Monks
