Fallen Is He Who Once Soared
2.5 hours... not quite finished but I'm not going to work on it any longer. Photo reference used for the figure.
Sleeping Beauty
About 1.5 hours. Unfinished work but my computer kept crashing so I scribbled all over it and now I'm pretending its complete. Anatomically incorrect, messy, unfinished, sleeping "beauty"...
Dark Priestss
Under an hour. Another sleeping beauty-like image. A portrait of a girl I know from another forum. I loved her features and thought it would be fun to paint her.
And so the oceans rose...
... taking with it earth and machine. No more than 2hrs on this was. It was an experimental piece to see how I could work in a different style. I am VERY inexperienced when it comes to perspective things, hard edges are my worst enemy... so yeah... it was hard

The last one is nice, sexy chiq btw
The mood in the first one is also great, for some reason I don't really like the 2nd one. The last one is really good, if you look at it from a distance you don't even see it's a painting.
Great job, and thanks for your tutorials |

I Love how these came out, they look a bit more lively than your longer, more perfectly clean pictures that were used to.
all three rock ^_^ _________________

Dammit, I haven't been able to see any of your pictures for over a month now at least. I'm sad. Makes no sense since you said you didn't switch server. |

First and last ones rock the fuckin house.
Don't care much for the second and third ones. They don't show your full abilities in my opinion, no matter how quickly you did them.
Anyway, good stuff for the most part.
Take it easy,

I really like the last one. Great mood and eerie feeling. I also like it's more decisive brushstrokes. If this was a new style for you, then all I can say is: more, more! _________________ Smokey, this is not 'Nam this is bowling. There are rules. |

Luna, I can send them to you by email, if you want to.
Jez, they are great. I love the first one, the composition is great and it has a feeling.
The sleeping beauty certainly is beauty, but I can see the errors you mentioned. And even with the errors it looks great.
The priestess looks like it's been paint from a photo, due to the weird angle and lighting, imho. But still looks marvelous.
And the last one, I like it. It's not easy to do things in perspective and you pulled it well. Also the underwater lighting is well done.
One little error would be that the windows aren't horizontally aligned and distorts a bit the picture, as it looks as the corridor is angled and the floor and walls aren't. Also the last window at the right is a bit off, the part down.
I hope that helps a little, and keep working, you do wonderful paintings _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa

Cool stuff Jez. Even though it doesn't feature robots and lazer and explotions...
Great to see you expanding style and themewise. More of us should, really.
