have not drawn or posted in many moons Rolling Eyes
kinda stuck on how to finish this guy i guess hes a genie or pirate or something. any comments on him or how i should finish this up would be welcome and not scoffed at. scoff scoff. oops.

i like the splatter and the drawing, but they have nothing in common... they don't blend at all. i'd heavily suggest incorporating the texture of the splatter into the face. it feels really flat. the way you drew it makes me want to see it on a clean/graphic background... just think consistency and theme here... it doesn't feel like you have done to this point.

also, the dude's tragi is disturbingly exaggerated, as is the intertragal notch... the lobe, too. i definitely dig the face ... the tiny eye with the ludicrously monstrous eyebrow... it's just killer.

it's sad that it's been so many moons since you've drawn. its easy to see you have the wherewithall.

also, his head feels like its floating, as it's cut off at the neck. i'd suggest finishing the collar/shoulders, and notice how flat the drawing looks... particularly at the back of the ear where the clean outline goes to a dirty splatter on the background.

anyway, play with it and post your progress... maybe even overlaying a blueish tint to the background will help tie it together... i dunno. good luck!
