Hey I'm sorry to ask this but, whenever I draw a head it just keeps looking cartoonish, and I have no clue what I should change, unfortunately my scanner is gone/broken, so I can't scan it in for now and let you guys judge, but I seriously make a good nose, then good eyes, then a good face, and all put togheter one cartoonish looking face lol, so I'm guessing I'm making a bad nose, bad eyes, and a bad head Laughing

But just can't figure it out, and I'm having trouble finding sketches/lineart (if that's possible) from real looking people, so I was wondering if some of you could post some sketches or links will do too of course. I did see the gallery of Craig Mullins, but that's not what I'm looking for, the guy just scribbles the details of the face Wink

So some real nice upclose faces or something, would do wonders I think.

Cartoonish : I just found a style that it reminds me off, it doesn't look like anime anymore, but like .. batman cartoon (square style thingy)

Look on Jezebel's website, among her tutorials there is one about coloring the eye, see her lineart at the very start ? That's about how the eyes look like ..(not to diss her eye though, at the end it looks beautiful) does this mean I just have to add a lot more shadow or what ?
