Hello All. I Haven't posted in some time now but finally got some time to paint and was actually inspired by a thread somewhere below that didn't do very well. I think it was about ocean life or something. Anyhow I painted this overgrown sea creature thing that might kind of look like a mutated piranha or something. It would be cool if people could come up with or just post some of their coolest underwater creatures.

I made this one and put some filters on it to kind a make it look like a photo. Kind of. Very Happy

"The old man and the sea", huh? W00000000000t! Excellent pic! Why don't you try to do a squid and go for it in da ultimate squid thread? Since underwater stuff seems to be popular at teh moment.

something about the squid-thinglboppers eyes is bothering me, it just looks a little too human, id try taking the white of the eye out and expanding the glassy part to fill the entire eye cavity. you could also mess with the shape of the pupil like making a a rounded square with sides that curve slightly inward or something.
