Hi, my english suck!
Well, i have scanned a image, how do i color it. Can I in some smart way
make the black strokes as a new layer and have the white transparent and paint under the black?
I hope someone understands
Thanks, Bye ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

eighter: you clean up the linework and make a new layer st to multiply.on this layer you can paint without destroying the strokes
or: you make a new laer adn trace the old strokes digitaly. then new layer for color.
Don't know if you meant this but maybe it helps,,,...my english sucks too |

basically, you want to cut and paste the line-art into a new channel, and colour the background layer. Check out comiccolors.com for tutorials.
good luck ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

the other way is to make a new layer, select Multiply and colour on that layer, it will show the black through it.. thats the way i've always coloured my B+W |

this is the way I always paint my drawings... but, I'm a real beginner in digital art, so maybe there are some others ways to do this ! _________________ piGfreeZer
