Hi:) I was wondering if anyone has a picture of this helicopter from the side, or anything except from the front.
And also, does anyone know any good tips or of a tutorial on drawing complex tech things in perspective?
Thanks in advance for any help:)

Here is what I'm trying to do basically, draw the helicopter crashing in the jungle sort of scenario. Here is the sketch and the picture. I'm extremely bad at drawing technical sort of stuff.

The actual sketch goes a fair amount higher above the girls head than that. Is that a good or bad thing compositionally. With a character in the foreground should the pic get cut off soon above the head? Any ideas would be great:)

Perhaps you could take it to the W(orks) I(n) P(rogress) board instead of hijacking this thread for your own needs.

When you finish the picture with the girl and chopper don't forget to post it here though. Wink

hah, it's funny to see how easily things get going in this forum nowadays.. this thread is going great, and it wasn't a surprise, it could be expected. 2 years back we had maybe 2 threads with people posting 150+ theme paintings. now there's what, 4 going on at once with speed painting having around 5500 replies so far?

yeah i love it here

ok im out bye

hell...I love all those pics with that amazing quantity of textures.
How do you get the right brushsetting for the correct purpose, I wonder?
Trial and error? Experience?
My pics get boring and too flat in texture most of the time ;/
