Hey, I would like to know how to insert an image into a post with having to make anyone click on the link to my website. I tried the Img button upon suggestion, but could not get it to work. I feel that if people don't have to go the extra step, I might receive more feedback. Thanks for your time.

firs you need the [img] at the begining of the URL of your picture

so example [img]http://www.InsertYourAddressHere/location/file.jpg

then [/img] to finish it off

so i've got a file on my server called: http://www.graphic-artwork.co.uk/pics/02%20sijun%20jet%20thread%20copy.JPG
so if i put the [img][/img] at the start and end you get something like

Bob, first of all, thanks for responding. I, however, must be an idiot because I still can't get the thing to work.
I got the [img]http://InsertYourAddressHere part, but the location/file portion confuses me. Location where? on my computer?

You were linking to the html file
http://www.geocities.com/shawnhuddleston/temporaryviewpage2.html

...but you need to link the jpg file...
http://www.geocities.com/shawnhuddleston/paint.jpg

Don't know if that was the problem though...

And I don't think geocities allows that kind of linking...
