I just like to thank everybody for their incredible work.

I've been browsing around the forum for a few months now, not only to be amazed every single day, but to realize the amount of talent that's being shared here. I see it now as an unprecedented collaborative effort, from great artist around the world, that not only inspires but helps everyone in one way or another, regardless of their knowledge or skill level.

That's why I've finally decided that it was time to post my first two cents and become a more active member with my humble experience. It's the least I could do to thank such an inspiring group.

All comments are welcome! Very Happy

Thanks, this was the first time I tried to do hair in PS7, I used it mainly as a practice piece.

Cool! looks great , you certainly did a good job on the hair, especially on the lower parts. The one thing that is missing is some nice cast shadows on the face . oh, and the dark eyeballs look weird, even though i'm aware that it's probably a choice rather than an error. It's simply different from what i expect to see, so it makes the face look like a mask with a couple of holes in it.

Very good. I'm really not liking that top lip, though. Doesn't look attached at all. I think that highlight on the right-middle is popping it out too much. Also it looks very flat between the nose and the lip. I think with a little tweaking, you could really clean all that up nicely.

Thanks for your comments, this is what I love about this forums, informative posts.
I agree with Tinush on the flat lip issue, I did this fairly fast, mainly to practice with the hair, and when I got to the lips, I rush it. Now that I got there I might as well take that into consideration.
On the other hand Bilbo point out another interesting issue, the eyes. This is because I was (and I still am) considering to leave him blind, I wanted to show just the hollow space inside the eyes but at the last minute I wanted to see how a nice reflection would look in there. I'm open to any suggestions on this area.
