since my copy of donnie darko is acquired from morally questionable sources, anyone know what's the name and performer of the piano track running around 01:44:00 of the movie with the male singer emoing all over it?

Of course there is... And much more Smile

I like my Hannibal Lector Action Figure (complete with Chianti bottle and organs from various victims)... He can punch, bite and insult just like the "real one"...

Batteries not included.

Very Happy

Irreversible Twisted Evil and Alone against everyone ( or something like that, not sure about the english name ) by Gaspar No

Requiem for a dream was okay too.

Lotr movies looked nice, but I really can't say I liked them. I hated the way Gimli was made into a Jar-Jar Binks ...

irreversible was quite nice...

..but now the hunt for "La Montagna del dio cannibale" has begun...

and Jussi, the song you must be looking for is either:

- Echo and the Bunnymen - The Killing Moon

or

- Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels

The OST only provides the instrumental space tracks and gary jules's - Mad World.

Amazing Brazilian film called "City of God". Extremely violent though, but with a purpose. You don't just watch this and forget it.

I feel Fight Club is a modern day Shakepeare. Just brilliant.

Se7en was amazing aswell, with a brilliant storyline.

So was 12 monkeys, The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs.

These aren't the most enjoyable necessarily, but invho they were just breathtaking.

Bladerunner.

Nothing since that one moved me as much. Well The Matrix too.

I wish there was more intelligent sci-fi. Emotional stories in a futuristic environment... Unfortunately most of it is just fx tripe... and the good ones often stay in a B budget.

everything Size recommended...(Shining and Rosemarry's Baby are my Favorite "Horror" Films)

i just saw Spirited away and i believe it's the best movie of this year (but i'd rather read the subtitles than listen to the dubbed version in theatre)

another great movie this year is Femme Fatale..

anyone here seen The Pianist? It's not showing in any of the theatres here...

Hong Kong John Woo:

A Better Tomorrow
A Better Tomorrow II
(very stupid but sets the stage for john woo's trademark 'gunfight ballet' in later films)
Hard Boiled <--best mindless action ever. Highest bullet and body count of any movie ever
The Killer <--best john woo movie; if you only watch one make it this one

Kung Fu:
Wing Chun series
Once Upon a Time in China series
Iron Monkey
Fist of Legend - remake of Bruce Lee's Chinese Connection. BEST JET LI MOVIE EVER
Legend of Drunken Master <-- hysterical

Who else can't wait for Kill Bill???
