Hey all, hope everyones had a great new year. Should have some paintings to show soon, tho some sketches for the mean time.
This is mostly quick stuff, to work on cranking out faster compositions, ideas, etc for paintings, c&c welcome.

sweet, cos. i like the roughest ones. your attention to detail is amazing, but the rougher ones are more fluid. |

Hey Cos, these rrock! Your characters/poses seem to be getting more fluid and lively every time. The last one is my favourite.

Ceenda - Hey, thanks man! Yeah, all of these are pencil sketched.
Ichabod15 - Yeah, agreed it's definetely far from original. Glad you liked them, cheers.
nubizus, Dr. Monkey, Simoom, Dude - Thanks for saying so!
Icannon - Thanks, I kinda prefer the rougher ones aswell. Still trying to get a more worked/detil style which keeps as loose the roughest stuff.
Frost - Hey Frost! Thanks mate, hope you've been doing well. Loved your latest paintings at Lumes btw!
Malachi Maloney, Max Kulich - Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated
Rhomb - Hey man, long time no see! Thanks, glad you liked these. Yeah, have started to concentrate more on livening up my character and composition work, thinking more artwork rather than concept. Definetely alot more interesting to do.
[666]Flat - A compliment from da mainman is always appreciated, Thanx dude!
sleepwalker - T h a n k s
couple more pages I scanned, again very quick sketchy stuff.

super nice sketches cos:) the first thing I thought when looking at them was "wow all sketched in marker". For some reason it totally looks like marker to me. Anyway, I'm rambling... Great work:) |

I know this must sound a bit like a broken record, but you continue to astound me with your development Cos. Everything just seems to flow better: The characters are dynamic and less stiff, the muscles seem tensed in the right places (as opposed to bulging everywhere), anatomy is fantastic and your compositions are growing more bold and interesting all the time. If i had a criticism, it's that you tend to use a similar palette in your paintings.
every time I see a posting on the boards from you, i know its going to be a cracker.
So anyway, man, what are you up to. I tried to send a couple emails, but no response. Are you working, going to school, what? |

immi - Been a long time.. I didn't actually get any mail from you, when did you send it? Inbox has been crammed, need to delete some stuff, maybe it didn't come through. Just send another over.
Up to the same really, been freelancing mostly, still doing the art course part time, life drawing etc, and on and off doing electrical installation which is what my job has been for years, u know. How about u? Still check out your site gfx, nice coverage on bisley and that fabry tut a while back.
Anyway, hope everythings been cool with you. Drop me a line whenever, happy new year mate. |
