Hoodz,it remembers me of the german Haunebu. The nazis invented an ufo being a plane and a tank at the same time.Capacity was 32 men,4000 miles an hours no problem and the haunebu flew in over 100 experimental flights up to the stratosphere.
Wait,i am having a pic from :
It was ready for mass production as the war was just over and all documents were destroyed by the nazis. |

Speed pic, no ref. Things work out better with perspective lines and a bit of thinking prior to putting down the pen.

spooge : Isn't it that painter stamps itself onto every image as long as you make lower-res sketches with it ? Or use big, speedy brush sizes ?
I think if you keep working on a Painter piece as you would on a real oil painting, you can end-up just as fine and detailed as you want, but then it wont be a speedpaint/sketch anymore.
Real oil / acrylic sketches are also very brushy.
Photoshop, in my eyes, has a more universal feeling. Its standard brush for example, has no texture, no fancy things. Just plain color/opacity/size. This way you can apply values without any special feel of any medium. If u want to paint texture/organic stuff you typically paint the "irregularities" stroke by stroke....Well...ps7 has this enhanced paint engine yes... _________________ If there is no God, who pops up the next kleenex in the box? |

Tetra: You could draw the propeller seperately (or in its own layer) and in full detail. Then add some circular motioblur to the whole prop (centered) and then paste the image into your plane drawing. Then use the skew and other translate tools to mach the perspective.
That is if you wanna fully utilize photoshop, hehe.

Tetra,
The way Sukhoi described how to do the propellers is the way I did mine, it is almost to easy.
Very nice henrik.
Here is this afternoon's effort....This might be the last one for a bit, I've have to get back to the paying work!

yep, that one's far better than the other, cause you went to something different I think...
The other ones give me the feeling that you were repeating the same thing time after time...
oh, I talk but I can't even draw a plane... don't mind what I've said _________________ drawing, sk8in... i'm really a deviant... |

haha! I'm back! Well, going to the BIG CITY was pretty ok but i did catch a terrible cold that opened the doors for a nasty sinus infection and rather wild fevers and that wasn't good at all.
I love what you've all done here!
that big hole in front contains a missile but it's not that obvious. _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |
