Hi,
i was just wondering how to setup painter7 so i can have the canvas on one monitor and the menus on the other. i remember that my friend used to just drag the menus in photoshop from one monitor to another. but i can't do that in painter.
i've just got the second monitor so i'm not quite used to the dual monitor setup.
Thanks for your help |

painter won't allow u 2 do this under any of the windows OS, because the pallets are constrained by the 'painter window' boudary, if u want to put the pallets on the other screen then u'll have 2 stretch painter over both of them |

yeah thats because ur not confined to a window like windows users.. tbh, it shouldn't b hard for them to make the pallets floating like in PS, but i guess they were being lazy the day they made them ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Just move your cusor to the edge of Painter's application window and click and hold down your left mouse button drag the windows edge over into your second monitor and let go when you have the size you want. Arrange palletes to the way you want and just use painter. When you reopen painter the next time Painter remembers your settings and streches out he application window for you. _________________ Ed Wiser
