Has it happened to someone that your graphire2 all of sudden changes its pressure/opacity setting? as in, in one brush it is pressure sensitive, on the next one it is 100%, without changing any setting? It is quite frustrating to draw like that... is there any solution, either? I updated my drivers already.

What program are you using? At least photoshop 7 is known to have this problem, with any wacom tablet.

What other programs are open during your painting?

I noticed, when my eMail program is searching for new mail and at the same time a want do do a stroke, then it turns to opacity 100%.

To get rid of the 100%, open and close the brush-palette.
Then search for any other program running and try to find out which one is causing you trouble, and simply: turn it of ;P

Talk about remote control!

That's one of the funnier quirks.

Thanks for the chuckle.

Very Happy

I think I figured it out - it's just the memory, if I paint as soon as I turn on the pc, it won't happen, if the memory is heavy loaded, it happens.
I use Photoshop, btw.
As a matter of fact, I have another problem with my graphire2 - sometimes the cursor just freezes, like, for half a second, not reacting to my movements. But I guess that's just because graphires ain't intuos Laughing
Thanks anyway, for the suggestions.

Hi,

My brand new (about three months old) Intuos 2 does that too. It happens especially when another program is running and hogging resources temporarily.

I think it was a Wacom techie who told me USB tablets do that. My old ArtZ II never did it.

Another thing... sometimes I have to move my mouse to unstick the cursor and haven't figured out why that's happening.
