Hi gang,
I have been in a studio where they have a electric pencil sharpener. It was possible to choose between differant types of pencil tips, sharp, less sharp and butt.
Does anyone please know what brand or model this could have been?
I am from Belgium europe and over here a elec.sharpener isn't the easiest thing to find. I have a battery operated pencil sharpener from Stanley but it's not a very sharp pencil tip.

Thanks

hi pal,

if u live that far, i guess you can try amazon.com or ebay.com

they have tons eletric sharperner

i dont think alot of people use them in north amarican anyways,

and in my high school, there is a hand rotate pencil sharpener.

but i thought it is out dated, in a morden world pencil is outdate, smart peole would use machenical pencil

Do it yourself!

This thing helps too.

I searched out of my own interest, but it looks like the pencil sharpener you saw DOES NOT EXIST. At least by terms of the internet.

i'm with impaler.
a long time ago, i bought a scalpel from a german mailorder for emergency medical equipment.
all in all, the handle cost about 2 euro max and a package of 100 blades, each packed airtight and sterile was about 15 euro.
they're sharp as hell, you can cut next to everything with it and i found them perfect for sharpening pencils.

j-d leon: wooden pencils still have some advantages over mechanical pencils, as mech pencils have certain advantages over wooden ones.
imagine a 5b pencil mechanical...
also, wooden pencils make a lot more organic marks while mechanic ones are suited better for drafting things or just sketching while e.g. in the train when you don't want to consume time to sharpen and mess around with more than just pencil and paper.

I have found Dixon Ticonderogas to be a far superior pencil, by the way.

don't know if this will help, but I use a bench grinder to get really fine long tips. works fast, kinda messy. My grinder cost 39 bucks US, about as much as some sharpeners I have seen.
