The first 30 min, I'm trying to get a composition and colors I like at this point. Its kinda hard to know where to start when all these colors are available all of a sudden. I'm really looking forward to getting painter instead of photoshop for real brush-like effects :/

Although, one thing looks funny to me.
Are those his legs? They look awful short.

Love to see an updated version of this scene...
hmm...
The shield would be better of being held at his side so that his arm would
be seen. He looks like he's walking into the room in almost defensive
position.

At this point I'm kinda stuck, so I need to look up a few references to proceed(for example the leaves really needs more work, but I cant do much more from my head)

Hmm I feel like the character should be bigger :/ He seems far too small, even if you meant to use his size as a distance eye visual.. but erm, its still far too small if he's within the walls of where the statues are... Dunno :/ I see it like that
