Hey all, Recently the license on my existing Virus scanner expired. and the company that made it doesnt support that scanner any more.
so I need to know, whats a good Virus scanner for a decent price that is good on resources. I had Antiviral Toolkit Pro and I swore by it.. but since Kaspersky labs doesnt make it anymore.. I need something else. and i desperately want something that wont bog down my machine. (Im a resource pig)
any help is greatly appreciated. |

Virus scanners?
I don't use them, then again I'm only running a 3 computer network...
Mostly I just use a Debian box as a firewall, that's all the security I seem to need.
I don't use outlook, ie, office etc... so I assume that basically knocks out most of the common routes a virus can take, if only I could do away with Windows itself I'd probably not have a care in the world .
Back to the topic, I always hear stuff about McAffee or Norton's offerings... so I suppose they must be at least decent |

I use Panda Antivirus for exactly the things you want in a virus scanner Awetopsy. I think it'd suit you perfectly. I swear by it, indeed.
