I CHANGED the topic to: PROPELLER THREAD. Post paintings/drawings of propeller driven objects, only rule is that there's a propeller somwhere hehe!

Hi there, I'm now addicted to a simulator called IL2 Sturmovik, there's hundreds of players online every day at www.il2sturmovik.com It's like the counterstrike of flight sim games, with exellent physics and graphics.

Well I haven't been painting for a wile so I made theese 2 "shouldbein speedpaintinthread" images. I painted it from memory, but many shapes are inspired from the aircraft LA5 FN that I normally fly in this Sim.

Anyone out there that also plays this game?

i love the lighting in the second image.
normally i am no friend of red/blue used in one image, but in this case it seems to work. very good paintings, both of them.

hey Capt.FlushGarden, nice pic i love the dulled chrome effect on the exhuast and propellor of the first pic - only thing that bothers me is the reflection in the cockpit's window looks a little too bright to me -other than that Cool really like em both

Thanx everyone!

Gecko, yeah those were the days, BTW I wonder if this could become a thread, hmm I'll try and rename it "The Propeller Thread" hahaha

HaoHmaru, exactly, I said that to myself when I was starting to paint the red plane, ended up that way though :/

Inspector Lee.
I bought CFS 3 and I must say the graphics are impressive, but it SUX compared to Il2 Sturmovik.BUY IT and PLAY IT! they are releasing an add on later called Forgotten battles, where your engine can get up to 30 different types of damage, that is amazing!

Thanx Guy

Novacaptain: my machine works real good, but I still aint got enough RAM

thanx Max Kulich, Matthew and Sparth!

-Hoodz-: tanks, ey? I blow up Plenty of tanks in IL2 hehe =)

Sukhoi: awesome, I think I saw your name once, e-mailed you and asked, no answer, must been wrong adress.

Thanx Frost!

Scott R Long time no se M8! ok Sir I'll do more Razz

Infinity: no ned to play any other sim Smile

Nexusnet: WoW becomes WoW backwards too hehehe Smile

Another one
