I just finished watching Lord of the Rings on DVD (again). I sit down at the computer and see these pics. Unbelievable. So awesome. I don't know what else to say.

Shin... that is without a doubt some of the best (if not THE) best art I've seen so far. Excellent...

Could you please tell me how old you are and at what age you became this damn good, because after seeing this, my future seems rather hopeless Wink

Oh, and do you use Painter, rather than Photoshop?

Very impressive!
At first glance I thought you'd just painted over the images in photoshop but then I realised the inevitable....your a god-d*mn �ber-grandmaster at drawing.....amazing to say the least. Will look forward to more pictures from you.

Um, Shin... I think you missed showing us a few steps in between those two pictures... Laughing

I mean, I was scrolling and reading and was thinking "COOL, a tutorial from the Shin-meister!.. step 1, pencil drawing on paper, check." (looks at scan of pencilwork, continues scrolling...) "Step 2 - AKK!" (pain from when jaw hits floor and eyeballs leap out of sockets)... Laughing

But I mean - F*CKIN' EYYYYYY!!!! That last picture of Boromir is frickin' unbelievable!! Shocked

The leather vest/armor especially! How the hell did you do this??? A tutorial would be most appreciated (I can but join my fellow Sijun-ites and humbly ask).

I'm ruing for I didn't record the journey step by step(the Lord Of the Rings)
So I can't show you the journey between pencil sketch and finish painting
But I'm doing some simply tutorial for a book
I'll share it with you recent~~~
