sorry, but violent activity aint cuased by video games. If someone is born with a screwed up mind to begin wit, then perhaps video games might bring out their instability and bring them to commit acts of violence. But, and this is what a lot of people are saying, along wit myself, a lot of games like counter strike keep healthy minded people from commiting violence rather than the other way around. Video games allow people to express their anger and violent tendencies on virtual beings-which allows them to avoid bringing them out upon real people. And anyway, i dont think ur pic is all that meaningful. So what if there's blood in Counter Strike? Kids shouldnt be playin it anyway.

i changed my mind. Before this time i was often playing counterstrike , this crappy game which is played by kids below the age of 12 or something like that.

Actually there are many people who are in there 20's 30's and 40's who play these games. If you ever noticed the box says ma meaning 17+ i agree with SikeSpiegal005 games are way peoepl express their anger instead of commiting the crimes. I dotn think people at sierra are think of a pan to make kids killers by introducing these games....

I'm not sure whether I agree or disagree. My first notion was that I disagree. My friend used to play that, but he stopped because he felt that it was making him violent, but then I had to refer to what Spike said, some ppl are just born with that in them...so I'm not too sure. But I do disagree with playing it, just cuz I think it's stupid, but that's all a matter of taste...Very Happy

Sorry, but all that raving about computer will make killer out of kids is just ridiculous.

Most of the murders have gotten their defects as a child (beware, nudity!)

True. We never want to take in the fact that the most influence anyone gets at one point in their life is from their parents. If a child is playing counter-strike and becoming violent, then the parents arn't doing their job. And if a grown man is becoming violent when playing counter-strike... or any other game of the like, obviously the parents didn't do their job well, or at all.

but we'd rather blame it on something other than human error.

I like thinking games. But given time I could whip anyone's ass in CS, or any other such game. I'm good at them.

Games don't breed violence, genes and upbringing do. Oh, and TV. Games can be an outlet.

Simoom, which Jeff K?
