Here's a link to a page with two sketches of myself and a couple reference pics. They were not used directly for reference, but I'm hoping I have captured my likeness at least. They look okay to me.

Nice sketches. The only thing that really sticks out at me is that the nose in both sketches seems pretty sharp down its length. The front of the nose is basically a plane and so it should have roughly the same shading across it. Right now you're shading it as if it was an edge instead of a flat surface.
