It looks like it's off to a great start to me.
I know it's probably early for this and you're probably working on it as I post this (if you're an insomniac as I :p which is bad), but the grass and that big rock (mountain possible) in the back don't look kinda out of place... maybe add in some atmospheric effects (like the air particles and as u move back in you're picture/painting the colors get duller and more grayish/bluish/whatever it is that is in the air) etc... as for the grass, it looks as if there is a wall of grass right there. Maybe make it not as long and less detailed. But then again, he could be in tall weeds? Maybe add some in front of him to make it look right (i'm not sure but someone can help on this it just looks strange). I love that metal on him as well as the mask and (straps?). But I just like the confident pose... on a quest for glory. Very Happy
