One thing you could try is to smooth the eye area abit.
The edges there are too sharp.

Here's the finale. I was cross between eye colours... Filling them with a glow made the cat seem less two dimensional. I think I had green in there at one point. Anyway, I don't want to spend too much time on this one. It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment job. There's a couple more citations and a poem I wrote that I would much like to give a place amoung my pictures some time.



As far as your comments, Max... I did soften the eyes a wee bit. Though one or two of those jagged points I wanted to be left untouched. I'm pretty pleased with how it stands now.
