| Yeah, I like speedpainting too.. it helps me concentrate on tones and shadows instead of details... Its really a good excercise.... Anyways... i like yours... especially the boat in the background... you got the "thickness" of the water. |

its a nice picture ChiaNi but I'm trying to figure out if a) you have a fake mustache on, b) you have the worlds longest and whitest nose hairs or c) your nose is running like a faucet. Not making fun of you, they're all christmasy outcomes, I'm just wondering which it is  |

Bboy - You may be right, I appreciate you pointing that out.

dr . bang - Wow...what a great compliment. You've seen a lot of paintings come and go through here and I've seen a lot better from you, so thanks a lot, bang.
I have no interest in reviving that account. I appreciate your suggestion though.
Antipro - I'm not a band waggon type of guy either, so once again, for you to point out what you like anyway, means a lot. Thank you, sir.
Duracel - These are speed paintings, my friend. I use filters and such to blur and build upon layers in a rapid rate. They look a lot more finished then what they really are if you see them full sized. Regardless, they do take 2-3 hours so you may be right about them not belonging here.
..That is fast for me though. I'm a detail 30 hour plus, hog.  hehe
BG - It's good to see you and the dr. again. I'm doing alright...been very busy working too many hours at work recently. I've been trying to paint once my kids are asleep late a night...The other parents on here know how it is.
Thanks for your compliment too.
TimDavis - Very beautiful painting. Great composition too.
MrSmith - Awesome painting with the whales...very inspiring.
