just practising to improve my bg painting skills. the first in a whole series of related bg's. hopefull i manage to usem in an animation sometime.

There's some perspective issues with the poles. Everything else about it suggests a sort of looking down view, but the poles are drawn from right on. I have a feeling that this has mostly to do with the lighting on the top of the pole and coudl be easily fixed. Perhaps add a third vanishing point below the ground. Sort of tilt the poles and the walls so that they are bigger at the top and smaller near the base of the picture

oh, the whole thing is supposed to be like a platform, and the bit with the poles raised about 3 meters. its not straight with the ground where the benches are on

regardless of how high the platform is, the poles look a bit off. i like the anime feel of this picture, so if you fixed the perspective, it'd be much better.

The poles look too straight. Try making the end of the pole touchin the platform go up-and-a-bit-left for the right pole and vice versa for the left pole. Or you can make them down-left/right, depending on height of pole.
