Quake World and Quake 2 forever!!!
Good work.. perhaps u could make sharper edges on the gun and flatten it a bit.. the handle(the thing in your hand...) is large compared to the rest of the gun.. also u might wanna work some more on the hand
Good work tho.. I suck ;p _________________ weeeeii |

Definition of form is lousy. The gun looks like bent, squished tubesteak instead of solid metal. The hand just barely manages to look better. |

Hey, I cant see the pictures anymore.
But if I remember the image correctly you could add a light source above or beneath so you would get a shadow at the opposite.
take it easy

Hi Neighbour, I'm from Holland so my English sucks as well.
I hope I can give you some advise, cuz I just started this hobby.
Pistolen sind nicht so klein wie du sie zeichnet. Try to look at websites of gun manufacturers, like www.heckler-koch.de or www.carl-walther.de as a reference. Guns are bigger (you would know that if you ever shot with a desert eagle).
The tip of the middelfinger looks broken and the thumb looks too short.
The shading and the flesh tones on the arm are nice (at the second try).
Keep working on it I hope this advise is useful.
see you around. |

well havent had an reference for the scribble and just one hour of biology lesson time,so i did actually neither look for the proportions of the gun nor the finger tips. next time i will.
well, except air pistols i did not use any kind of gun.
thanks for the links, i'll look for reference if i need it again. _________________ Just 'coz u call me paranoid, there's no proof they do not follow me. |

Hi, it's me again, i tried to draw a hand with a pistol. Here's the result.

Traced sketch:
1 minute photoshop :: main colors and the dodge/burn tool:
I hope it helps you out to get the proportions right. Here's a link to a hand tutorial http://www.anticz.com/handtut.htm and a link to a http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/effects/metal.htm tutorial about metal in photoshop.
