For my college portfolio, I thought it would be clever to draw myself walking around the college campus of the place I want to get into..Ringling in Florida. It's some hundred miles away so that's not going to happen unless I get accepted.
It's taking forever, and I'm having trouble making it look like I'm in the environment.
Any comments whatsoever welcome.

I think your head just stands out too much at this point, it might fit in later when you have worked a bit more on everything else. it also looks like its at a little bit of a weird angle, I wouldn't think you'd be able to see that much of it. that's the main thing that seems to stick out to me, if I scroll so I don't see all of you then you blend in a bit better.
also wondering if your shadow might be a little too intense. looking around at the shadows cast by the archs they seem to tapper off shortly, but your entire shadow is clearly defined making it seem like there's a really damn bright light only shining on you.
I can't think of anything else off hand, the environment looks pretty good and has very vibrent colors. maybe someone else can offer more help, but it looks pretty good |
