I have played around with photoshop and ms paint for a year or two and never really got too good because of lack of learning source. I have also wanted to learn how to create paintings similar to those posted in the finished art gallary. it would be quite appreciated if you could tell me what programs are used for these paintings and a good place to learn how to do it. thanks! _________________ monkey |

Hi Freaka
Try doing a search in the forums for tutorials (upper right nav icons - magnifying glass); you're certain to find something useful there. _________________ - Tom Carter

www.sumaleth.com/links is a good place to start. Links to old sijun threads don't work right now.
You should learn about colors, perspective, anatomy, composition ... . It's essential for digital art.
(Check out the loomis books @ www.fineart.sk/anat)
Most artists here use Photoshop or Painter.
Btw, the search doesn't work properly. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |
