I haven't read it, but this makes me want to! It's a really good image - nice lighting in particular.
Out of curiosity, was this done entirely digitally, or did you scan lineart in? |

awesome book, good painting. all i would say is that you should probably add evn more thorns, because i thought it was described as a being of like barbbed wire and stuff. _________________ Jake A. |

Wow! This guy looks very dangerous, like he could rip you several new a**holes just by sneezing. Killer image. _________________ Smokey, this is not 'Nam this is bowling. There are rules. |

I read some of it long time ago. Can remember too much. But the pic sure does look good. I remember a ship that was also a tree, if I'm right. And also there was some priest who found christian symbols in some far reaches of space, untouched by human civilization. _________________ Ken Leung, professional amateur, freelance slacker, college student. |

Gezstar>> yes, it was done entirely with photoshop 7 and wacom, including base drawing.
Moleculeman>> you're right about the description, but I have thought that too much thorns would have spoiled the whole design.
Inspector Lee>> lol !

looks very cool, although (having read the book) I think that he needs to be more mechanical... more metal, more blades, and more eyes! |
