clean and nice work, good job.
I just deslike that u did cut one of his feet, it disturbs the layout somehow.

Randis, It was an assignment on movement, so I did that on purpose.

..yeah that cut out foot does create static. it does nothing to convey movement. so does that pentagon eyes on the snowman. its just out of place. also minor stuff like the point on his pant legs touching his shoe (the foot on the ground) also creates static.
the mutliple images of tracks on the snow does help with the movement and also his position being in midstep also conveys implied movement. But the actual movement is restricted because he has no where to move. He'll fall off the page. you might want to give him some room to actually "move" by moving left a bit...but still keep the track.
eh anyway that's all from my design principles 1 class...so uh correct me if i'm wrong |

Thanks Jekki, I think I'll change some things and re-post it. I agree that the foot just slightly off the page creates static, Either he should have more space to move, or should be off the page more, maybe half. I think I'll move hime more to the left, and maybe do something different to the snowman. I created the image rather quickly and posted it the day after, so I didn't really have a chance to think about it and come back to it later. Thanks for your help. I think I'll add a christmas tree and more christmas colours as I might make cards out of this.
I'll post the final version once I get it finished.

Nice improvements. Works much better now. Still not crazy about the snowman's face though.
