wow! metroid prime is soooo coool. the dude at EB gave me a copy early. at least i think he did, the display said the 20th and it's the 19th. so, yeah.
maybe i'll buy fusion next, and get cool extras on prime.

Fusion is good.

Nothing touches Super Metroid though.

Do any of my fellow Aussie counterparts (or anyone for that matter) know when Metroid Prime will be released here in Australia??

hoodz, have you seen the trailer for RE 4? oh sweet baby jesus, i wet my pants.

The game is incredible. Seriously, the best I've ever played. My honest opinion is that it is the best game ever created. Apparently all the reviewers and stuff think the same thing. I'm totally loving it.

Metroid Fusion was fun... but short it seemed. I liked how the weapons worked, a bit easier for switching between, etc.

Metroid prime kicks ass, probably the best game for the gamecube. Although every game put out by nintendo for it thus far has been quite good. With games like f-zero (from sega), legend of zelda, and mario kart to still come out, I'm rather glad I opted for the gamecube option. just my two cents, but gamecube is already kicking the n64's ass.

Very awesome game. Thumbs up to Retro Studios for putting so much hard work into it.

I'm really surprised that Nintendo is letting other teams handle a lot of their big name games.

They also have Star Fox (a new one) in the works and it's being developed by the Namco team responsible for the Ace Combat games.

yea, i demoed it at my friends place, and the amount of time put into it is great.
Like the litle details they didn't leave out, like how your visor fogs up. or if you fire the freeze gun with the heat sensing googles on, the area where the ice is turns black. So many things like that, not to mention the great textures.
Not incredibly difficult though, my friend managed to get 2/3 of the way through it in a 3 day rental (which took place during the school week) but hes very good at videogames, and plays firoususly. Like some kind of beast. Deffinitly try it out if you have the chance.
