Hello!
this is a drawing I made last night, and I have to admit that I'm quite happy with it. I started drawing 2 weeks ago and its getting more and
more interesting. Now I try to draw at least 3-4 hours every day after school.
A friend of mine took a picture of me so I could get the right pose.
This is also my first atempt to color anything in photoshop ( or with anything else for that matter) so be gentle Smile

drawing's fun, innit! now you've been bitten by the bug, you'll never stop.

for someone who's only been at it 2 weeks, i'd say you've got a lot of potential. you might want to shorten the abdomen cos the guy's got like a ten-pack going on there.

out of interest, what got you into art?

thanks alot for kind words and good critics everybody.

gezstar : I have always liked art, but I have spent the last 5 years thinking it was too late for me to draw if wanted to get any good. But for two and half week ago I decided to do something about it, so I printed out "figure drwaing by andrew loomis" and buyed some other books and started drawing 1-4 hours everyday, I've even started reading about the old masters from a book I found at the library . It's really fun , and see progress almost every day. Hopfully you'll see more drawings from me Smile
My dream now is to get good enough to attend a art school one day.

i'm exactly thought the same as you. The day i told my self "stop thinking about past and what you haven't do and start thinking about future and what you can do" was the day i started to developing my skills. When i started to draw(over 2 years ago) i only draw for one hour a day or sometimes even a week :/. The loomis book teached me alot but i found it after a year of learning so youre lucky Smile study it carfuly. Hope to see more stuff from you. Good luck and have fun.
