gArGOyLe^: Looking good Smile

Curtis: Well I try to do one a day but things often get in the way :/. Hopefully we will see some more from hunter and chian soon

Duracel: That one looks cool looks it is nice and painterly. Will try and do something a little different like you said on conceptart Smile.

Infinity: The more you do the easier it is Smile

Well I am trying to learn how to speed paint and finding it a bit of a strugle mainly due to my drawing being week (If anyone knows any life drawing classes in Chelmsford (UK) let me know). This one took 30 mins any advice is really wellcome

Joachim, first i saw only the pic and thought "hum, you know this man, but ..." than i red the name "oh yes, i remember" ... long ago since i saw your old selfportrait, but its the same joachim i think .. perhaps a little bit different. ^^

But its great, i like it ... argfh ... i have to say it to all of your art. Wink

Jaymo, great one, but i know, its not an old one :p come on, paint a new one!

ZippZopp, go on! Smile

beat, awesome, i like the way between detail an speed

Lionel, hum .. looks a littlebit like your others Wink
hmm, that means, its you on all of this portraits ... but it also means i still wait Very Happy -> "Will try and do something a little different like you said"

I really like most of the images posted here. I hope to find some time to contribute a drawing made by me. Until then I hope that this modified photograph will do.

One question to Lionel: What is it that you draw that headset that often? I know it is challenging to draw this thing in perfect perspective but you really look better without it.

Great work everyone! Makes me wanna stay on these forums forever Smile

So here's mine ... this one's done traditionally (acrylics) since I'm still new to this whole digital painting thing, but oh well - that'll do it for now I guess Razz

joachim, i like your traditional-kind of way, myself i can't work out of the photoshop world so as a countermeasure im not zooming and keep to the bigger brushes. let's see if it's of any help. there are many good ones, good going guys

Ok I hope I dont look too pissed I slept 4 hrs tonight
This is the first time I paint a portrait so I was concerned with colors & value
I dont know what to do next.. I used a little dry brush to mix colors at the end but if I use it too much I loose all the definition.. maybe it's still too flat and I need to think more in terms of planes ? (i.e. beat's wonderful pic) any tips welcome
PS: yep there's something wrong with the eyes,

larger size here
