Hello folks, this is my 1st own topic here.
We made cardboard cubes at school during last two weeks. The idea was to get different moods from the same scene by modifying lights. Here are six photos from my box. (size (30cm)^3, materials: cardboard & paper. Digi photos' levels edited in PS)
I got myself a new host, so Let's see how thisone works.
C&C appreciated.
sorry about my bad english:)

Pretty cool.. very nice lighting, what kind of light sources did you use? is it my imagination or do some of the lights actually shine through the paper? nice effect! I also like the low dof in some of the images, adds a good sense of depth to it. |

Nice. I have tinkered with this stuff before. It takes alot of time. I never though took the time to play with lighting. I am very impressed and inspired. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ ICQ # 84220724

Glad you liked them.
I found out myself, how important a good lighting is(and how much you can correct the lights in PS:) The scene looks actually kind of dull in normal ambient light. The lights I used were actually a pair of table-lights and two flashlights with coloured plastic sheets. I also used a transparend kind of paper layers at the water and in the background clouds. This was done to get a "self-illuminating" material when illuminated from behind. I also cut holes to the bottom side of the hills to get the light bounce between mountain layers. The grid cut at the roof is actually a fake prspective:)
