| Can anyone reccomend any good "How to" photoshop 7.0 books? I've never used photoshop before...so it would have to be pretty basic. Thanks a lot! |

start by reading the manual and getting to know the package
try and give yourself a project and work on it (reading books is all well and good, but its using the program that teaches you the fastest) |

| Well, most of the Photoshop books I've seen deal with photoediting. Are there any that talk about digital *painting* using Photoshop? |

One I know of: Photoshp 7 Magic
It has one chapter devoted to one of my digital paintings and how I created it using Photoshop:
There are several other chapters dealing with various aspects of digital paintiung by other artists as well.
