Hi guys.
I'm doing a console for the HL mode "hostile intent". This is what I have so far (the banner is just slapped on, it's the drawing I'm working on ) :
I've used photo refs for the people, so the proportions should be OK. I think it looks a little boring tho....
BTW I have to keep the bottom left clear and dark for the console text. Any suggestions and critizizmszs are welcom ! |

Bob: I don't know about the 256 colors. I'd have to ask. Thanks for pointing that out. It's supposed to be dark.
Flat: Maybe...did you post selfcentred, sexist drawings on the HI art forums once ? _________________ HardCoil

it does look a little boring - i was thinking some more action would help that out - ie a bullet hitting the wall (sparks, etc) and some shells, chaff coming out of the shooting gun as well as on the stairs... |

I think the stairs perspective is a bit off. And having as background just that is what makes the pic boring. Also, the boy scouts are looking at their right, so the composition should show us what they are looking at, that way it feels balanced. Right now it feels like we are missing something.
Also, if the guy upwards is firing, you should add some high contrast light reflections on his clothes and the weapon. Also on his buddy. That and some shells as commented would add interest to the pic.
I think it could turn out nice =) _________________ "Ever forward, my darling wind." -Master Yuppa
