i was going for a clean, stylized, line-only look but i screwed up so messed around and ended up with something better~~

i don't know why but i've developed an odd aesthetic over the years Sad.

I rather like it... I do think it looks a bit accidental rather than intentional. By that I don't mean the chaotic style, I mean the chaotic style seems unintentional. But, I guess that is what you wrote in your message, so perhaps I'm being redundant...

At any rate, I think the technique is well worth the effort to take it forward. I find artwork such as this very exciting...

I like it. The only thing that bugs me is the vertical ink blotch that comes out of her left eye. You might want to rubber stamp that out.
I like how it flows and how you've added detail only to certain parts of the body, making it so that the mind connects the rest of the dots.

I like how you've juxtaposed a sensitive/delicate line quality next to a more chaotic one.

Nice work!

yea it is kinda messy/confusing. here is a detail of the face.

eyewoo: thank you. this kind of thing seems to satisfy something in me, especially lately, but at school i get mixed reactions. it's always gratifying to see people enjoying this kind of thing.

kamal: the eye splotch is a little distracting/over the top eh? i thought so too... but it came to be completely spontaneously. i poured some water over the figure and i forgot the ink near the eye was still wet. suddenly this great black tear comes gushing out (the paper is crying ack!). it was a complete surprise and almost eerie Smile. that said, i like it.

I really like it:)
same opinion as eyewoo here.
I think you overdid the "chaotic thing" a bit, but only a bit.
Same thing happens to me usually, get angry and destroying/experimenting with the pic. But than again it's a good way to get something interesting.Wink

Very nice C, love the raw gritty style, very loose.

Subtlely blocking in some highlight areas with white ink might be nice, to give it a more solid feel.
