That appears to be a filtered photograph, Shazaam. Like, not even a paintover, just a straight filter job. Maybe it's not but . . . I'm trying to see a deliberate brushstroke in there somewhere and can't find any.

call me pethetic but i was curious and i like to do some detective work  so...
about mr. Shazaam (his real name is Bill Willson) this is his second speed painting. lets forget about the last entry (water please) and go to his earlier painting "fire"

as you can simply see he just used some filter but claims he painted it. I think we can check if the ban option is working

this is more of a study then a quickie- I painted from a photo ref in about an 1.5 hours. I took the photo myself at a renisance farie in gilroy, ca.
Done in photoshop, brush opacity set to 45%.

Just a note: that kind of humor is a very touchy subject in Germany, you�re bound to find some people who don�t find that thing funny, or even to be joked with at all.
